An alumni from Northern School of Contemporary Dance and a former Head of Department in West Yorkshire secondary school Sally co-founded Nurturing Creativity 3 years ago as she believes everyone in the community should have the opportunity to access the arts.

With extensive experience in Early Years, including as a Children’s Centre Manager, Kirilea recently won the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Champion award for Healthy Holiday programs. She is dedicated to creating and managing impactful projects for children and young people, enhancing their engagement with the arts and community.

Lily is a passionate freelance dance and drama teacher who loves helping kids have fun while exploring the arts. With experience in schools and a background in TV and theatre, she’s all about inspiring confidence and creativity in every child.

Leila, joined the team in 2021, creating imaginative adventures for the children and taking the technical lead during performances. She ensures every child, especially those in SEN groups, enjoys a fun, engaging environment while reaching their full potential.

Natalie is an experienced performing arts teacher with over 11 years of experience who loves to ensure that children reach their potential while enjoying and exploring their creativity in a fun environment. Natalie still treads the boards as a professional performer in UK theatres and on cruise ships.

Jade is a passionate dance and drama teacher with many years experience as a professional singer and dancer. She helps children build confidence and self-belief through engaging lessons in ballet, tap, modern jazz, and musical theatre.

Susan is a self-employed drama coach a first-class BA (Hons) in Acting from the University of Central Lancashire. She has a wide range of experience in physical theatre, musical theatre, naturalism, film and TV, and radio and so has a wealth of knowledge and experiences to share with the children.

In addition to her stellar professional career as a singer and dancer where she has worked with George Michael, Elton John and Kylie Minogue amongst many others, Becka is passionate about mentoring and inspiring the next generation of artists. She has been working with Nurturing Creativity since 2023 where her wide range of skills and expertise in music, dance, vocal coaching, and teaching, make her a well-rounded artist and mentor.
